This is how quick-closing valves for oil work
An immediate release time under all conditions is essential for the maximum safety of your system. Our quick-closing valves for oil are designed so that they close by spring force in less than a second if the auxiliary power fails, and within five seconds in the control function.
Thanks to Fire-Safe approval, they also shut off reliably and quickly in the event of a fire.
Oils place special demands on quick-closing valves
Oils are used thousands of times every day in industry. Hazardous substances released can not only cause material damage to your system, but also affect the health of your employees. In addition, even small amounts of escaping oil can have a major impact on water and soil. For these reasons, highly reliable quick-closing valves for oil are an essential component for the safety of your system.
Our safety quick-closing valves for oil are type-tested, certified and have all the necessary approvals and material certificates.
Don't compromise on safety and rely on quick-closing valves and compact systems made in Germany.

Quick-closing valves from Albrecht-Automatik are suitable for these oils
Oil is a liquid mixture of different hydrocarbons, the mixture of which varies depending on the deposit. Different processes are used to further process the intended petroleum products. The most common processing method is distillation. This involves the thermal separation of crude oil into its components. The different oils, which differ in their boiling point and viscosity, are produced through evaporation and condensation. Heating oil is divided into classes EL (extra light), M (medium) and S (heavy) and are defined in DIN 51603.
We manufacture safety quick-closing valves for the following oils:
Heating oil EL – also known as standard heating oil – is chemically identical to diesel and is colored red for tax reasons to distinguish it. It belongs to the group of middle distillates, has a flash point of 55 degrees Celsius and can be burned in ovens, central heating systems and industrial combustion systems without preheating.
Heating oil M is rarely used compared to heating oil EL and heating oil S. When it is used, it is mainly in industrial power plants or in freight shipping.
Heating oil S – also known as heavy oil – is mainly used in industrial power plants, for generating electricity in power plants and for district heating. Because it is very viscous, it must be heated to a temperature of 60 to 100 degrees Celsius for transport through pipelines and combustion.
